Another little insight into my new life, i’ll be interested to see when i finally get out and start taking some of my normal style of photography?

Another shot, which surely won’t be the last of my daughter. I will be enjoying the chance to try my hand at a totally different style of photography!

This might explain why I have been so quiet with my photography of late, here is my little celebration of a new life entering this world

Sulking
This is another picture of our little Maltese dog! This time she is sulking on some pillows after being told off…bless…so hard to be angry with her!

Lean on Me
This is one of a few images i took on a recent trip to Lavenham in Suffolk. I was really impressed by the stunning houses in the town centre, and thought this tight crop helped capture the feel of the way the properties almost seem to lean into each other!

Can You Tell What it is Yet?
This is the final post from the Mastering Composition Photo Walk with Steve Davey. This photo is capturing a group of people making sand sculptures on the banks of the Thames. The key tip from Steve for this shot was to make sure we got St Pauls into the frame, making sure this was an iconic image of London, rather than a beach shot from anywhere in the world.

Living in a Box
This is one of the final shots i’ll be posting up from the Mastering Composition Photo Walk with Steve Davey. This shot for me is all about the man spending his days in a plastic seagull on London’s Southbank.

In Confined Spaces
I liked this image (also taken on Steve Davey’s mastering composition course) capturing all the different elements in what i think is a very interesting moment on the shores of the thames. You have the classic skyline of St Pauls in the background, the old jetty structures in the middle ground and the characters in the foreground of the scene.

Bubble Trouble
Still working my way through the photos that i took on Steve Davey’s Mastering Composition course. Whilst not all of them are particularly in my normal style, perhaps part of purpose of taking a course, they have been more focused on capturing an entire scene. This shot which has been slightly retro processed, was trying to capture a moment on the south bank with the crowd interacting with the bubble blower!

Sad Feelings of Tomorrow
This was the second of two shots i took of this scene looking back at the character in the background across the striking street art at Trafalgar Square. I can’t quite decide which of the two images i prefer???
