Day 16 ‘Blood Red Tears’ – 12/12/09
Todays photo is from the park near home, where we were walking our pup on this cold winter morning. My girlfriend pointed out the silhouette that the branch was casting on the wall as a potential candidate for todays photo. Its nice to have a shot of colour on the blog, and i like the contrast between the deep red leaves and the shadows cast on the wall. So far so good, it is day 16 and i’m still determined to make it all the way through to day 365…although i have read somewhere that as i get to day 60 my enthusiasm may be tested!

We found ourselves looking at this captivating shot for quite some time. There is a great deal in it,and the interaction between shapes, shadows and the contrast of colour blend exceptionally well.If the petals had been in sharp focus,we would have voted it for a 5.An excellently observed opportunity.
