I spotted this a couple of weeks ago getting the tube to Bank, and finally managed to catch this on camera. I liked the simplicity and the symmetry of this shot, and was pleased with the way this came out. Considering over 90% of my blog will be in and around London, I’m glad to have finally caught an iconic image of London’s underground system.
UPDATE: Based on feedback i have reworked the image above to include the Canary Wharf Tube sign as well. In hindsight perhaps it does work better this way? I was going for a less is more approach before, trying to suggest the icon rather than reveal it.

Would perhaps have liked to see a little more of the sign so it could be identified as London transport. An excellent shot nonetheless that catches the eye.

I prefer the original shot. I could still identify it as the tube logo, cleaner without the verbiage.
