Day 54 ‘Lone Leaf’ – 19/01/10
This shot has been inspired by a couple of my Flickr Contacts, Annemie Hiele and Rod Anzaldua. As i was walking around at lunchtime today i spotted this, and liked the geometry of the pavement combined with the lone leaf. I have feeling this won’t be my only ‘Lone Leaf’ shot, as i really like the simple elegance of the shots that inspired me. Plus it has given me an excuse to branch back out into colour again for todays blog entry!

Yes the leaf looks good on the pavement.Did you arrange the leaf spread out in the corner or was that how it landed?
That was where i found it, in hindsight it might have been more efective had i moved the leaf onto the grey slab for a better contrast!
I like this composition and colours
So simple, but still says so much. Much more than I can put into words.
