Day 130 ‘Shoreditch Graffiti’– 05/04/10

I’m surprised how little Graffiti I have captured on this project so far, as it is something to both love and hate in the urban environment. I thought this patch of Graffiti in Shoreditch (hence the literal title) looked fantastic, and I have tried to capture it along with it’s surroundings. I deliberately used some selective colouring to get the graffiti to stand out from the rest of the environment.

    DAY 130: Shoreditch Graffitinice photojournalism- well anchored. The selective colour does not draw my eye away from the figure but urges a secondary glance that emphasises the urban context of the shot.
