I wanted to post up a selection of photos i took on disposable cameras when from 1998, when i spent 3 months working in Tokyo, this photo is from outside my apartment just down from Roppongi.
This one I like,in fact the best of the memories so far for me.The road markings and the overhead railway lead deep into the picture giving the scene plenty of depth.
I love Tokyo!!! I was there is 1998, it was my first trip, of many, to Japan! I’m going to have to dig out some of my images, I wish I was a better shooter then. Even though I’m a fan of Tokyo, I’m a bigger fan of OSAKA!! Great shot thought! Sugoi!
It’s nie to look through them, as this was porbabally the only time (untill recently) that i had tried to take ‘creative’ or ‘interesting shots’
@ Jo – Have put in a bid for a cheap 35mm camera on eBay as am tempted to try some film shots again. I think this was helped a little by the superb photo processing that was available in Tokyo at the time. The prints all seem super high quality.

Beleive it or not, it’s actually an overhead road…roads on roads all over the place in Tokyo!!!

I love your retro b&w shots, they are so cool! I tried to get a disposable b&w camera the other day – don’t seem to exist anymore.
Great lines. You did super work with a disposable camera!
