A simple texture shot for a lazy Sunday, this is a view down onto the Thames from the park near my flat.
Day 209 ‘Tidelands’ – 23/06/10 I was struck by the lines made by the light, the tide and the waves on this strip of Thames Beach. Deliberately underexposed to draw out the contrast in these sections, a slightly different shot for todays photo.

Day 184 ‘Park Life’ – 29/05/10 This is another 'intentional camera movement' photo that was shot in the park near my home. The style has been inspired a little by Steric who made me think about trying this with starker blacks.

If I hadn’t seen the title, I would’ve thought it was a sculpture. It looks very sculpted. Nice light shows all that texture.

Be sure…this is full of interest and the patterns keep the eye roaming.The fact that the colour is subdued takes nothing away from the patterns,just right.Perhaps a rare occasion when dull mud brown is perfect.
