This is my celebration of Day 300 of my project 365, another ‘At My Desk’ image. I thought a selection if the mundane items that are part of my daily work grind should come together in honour of this landmark!
This is a revisit to Day 68 with an ICM “Intentional Camera Movement” twist. This is another image of my mouse, but with intentional blurring to change the dynamic of the shot. It is quite interesting, for me, to revisit some of the images and spots i have used on my project to see how i can now look at them with fresh eyes. Whether this is a better image or not is open to debate, but it is definitely not an image i would have taken 212 days ago!!!!
Finally i am caught back up to todays photo!!! This is another photo taken from my desk, which shows the currently great view i have untill I move next month

Another ‘at my desk’ shot, again with a two pence coin…this time spinning in a bottle cap from my regular 1.5 litres of water a day!
Funny, i thought i might retake one of my more spectacular failures of the project so far. “My Two Penneth” was a big miss on day 97, so this is another simplistic shot of a two pence coin on my desk. This time i think it make a bit more of an interesting, minimalistic abstract.
I guess this is the sister shot to ‘Control‘ from Day 68 and is another ‘at my desk’ photo giving a glimpse into my working world (and my grubby keyboard). A simple minimalist photo for today, slightly pipping another blurred abstraction that i might shoot again another day…or give it 5 minutes and i’ll be posting up another shot for today!
This is another ‘at my desk’ shot, a close up of the bubbles of air that had formed in my bottle of water.
Like a child i found the title that popped into my head for this shot as i walked home deeply hilarious! Perhaps not, but another ‘at my desk shot’ for today. I have recently realised that this project will serve as a mirror to my life in years to come. When something as mundane as plastic forks in my draw will remind me of little details of my life.
Perhaps it should be Windaz not Windows? Regardless this isn’t quite the shot i wanted, i hope to catch a fully soapy windows (maybe even tomorrow) but i liked the character of this shot. The often overlooked aspect of the big building city life are the guys that keep the windows clean.
Somedays the 365 does seem like a massive undertaking when you can’t seem to see the wood for the trees. I quite like this shot, a detail from my rather ugly boots, but can’t decide if this is perhaps just a dull photo? In the spirit of the challenge i am trying to push myself to try diferant photography styles and subjects, so inevitably there will be some weaker shots…not sure if this is one or not?
