Another ‘At My Desk’ shot, love the way my desk seems to work as a perfect light box (almost) for when inspiration runs short around me! I noticed this battered and bruised two pence coin in my change, and thought it might make for an interesting shot?

We are supposed to be moving offices soon, so i am taking my opportunities where i can. I have a feeling that i won’t have the same natural light when i move, so it may be an end to the ‘At My Desk’ shots!

What does taking part in a Project 365 do to you? Well today it had me sticking a broken valve amp from a colleagues desk into a carrier bag! Why? Why Not! I have taken so may shots of doodabs at my desk, i thought it would be good to have something on a non white background. So there y0u are, a valve amp in a bag!

This is part of the “At My Desk” series of photographs, which i think captures the sometimes empty page feeling of the Project 365 challenge. What to take a photo off today, the need for it to be something good, the endeavour to make it interesting. Not sure if my blank page is any of those things, but i liked the way it faded into the distance!

This shot is actually a Diptych of two almost identical shots i took of my phone at work whilst sitting on a conference call today. I like the contrast between the Bokeh and the detail and thought it would make a nice colourful shot for today. It is also a little autobiographical of my life, as i spend rather too much of my life sitting on these calls!
