Dark Path

This is the second of two images of the Greenwich foot tunnel, this one was shot with a little “Intentional camera movement” as i walked through the tunnel. Just enough to get the slightly ghostly/other worldly feel to the image. I liked the slightly creepy ominous feel to this image, which seemed to perfectly suit the black and white processing.

Almost 365: Planet ICM

This planet was made from one of the intentional camera movement photos i took of the Thames during my Project 365. The original was an extremely minimalistic ICM which i thought might work nicely as an ICM Planet, not sure i have seen one of these before?

This shot was taken walking back when we went to France last year. Still having a break from active photo taking waiting for the Fuji Finepix X100 to be released!

Storm at Sea

I guess this is the partner image for Rain at Sea, as it was taken at the same time when we were on holiday in Amalfi. I was just tidying through my photos, and saw this one unprocessed in the folder. I had a little play arround, and decided this looked good (to me) as a very simple brooding black and white image. Probabally not to everybody’s taste, but i really like this!

Almost 365: Lonely for the Last Time

As i went through my 365 I was worried about posting up too many ‘Intentional Camera Movement’ images, so here is one from the almost file that just missed the cut. I actually really liked this one

Day 340 ‘Energy Flow’ – 01/11/10

This was an experimental ‘intentional camera movement’ image of the same scene as River Crossing. It was taken on a 15 second exposure,after 8 seconds i shifted the camera to get the light trails across the Thames.

Day 323 ‘Seeing Sound’ – 15/10/10

This is another ‘intentional camera movement’ image, taken on a long exposure as i walked home along the Thames. This image is the lights on the far side of the Thames, with the night time river and sky above and below.

Day 280 ‘Losing Control’ – 02/09/10

This is a revisit to Day 68 with an ICM “Intentional Camera Movement” twist. This is another image of my mouse, but with intentional blurring to change the dynamic of the shot. It is quite interesting, for me, to revisit some of the images and spots i have used on my project to see how i can now look at them with fresh eyes. Whether this is a better image or not is open to debate, but it is definitely not an image i would have taken 212 days ago!!!!

Day 278 ‘Snail Shell’ – 31/08/10

This is my first ‘Camera Toss’ attempt, I finally felt brave enough to give this a try. For those that don’t know this literally involves you flinging the camera into the air (no hands) as you take the image. This was done in the relative safety of the living room, and is in fact an episode of friends on the TV! So here is my first, likely not my last ‘Camera Toss’, ‘Intentional Camera Movement’ image of my project 365!
