Day 285: Lean on Me
Day 285 ‘Lean on Me’ – 07/09/10
What a difference 285 days make, i think i would have been really pleased with this shot at the begining of my project? But am somewhat underwhelmed today, perhaps it is getting back to the daily urban grind from the sweeping open beaches in Wales??
Day 284: Run Rabit Run
Day 284 ‘Run Rabit Run’ – 06/09/10
It was a shame to be heading home today, this was our pup’s last run on the beach. It was great to see her running her tiny little legs off!!
Day 283: Life Saver
Day 283 ‘Life Saver’ – 05/09/10
This shot is of one of the Life Savers on Talybont beach. I had previously taken a shot of this same location, with a view back towards the mountains, but i quite liked this slightly less cluttered composition.
Day 283: On the Beach
Day 283 ‘On the Beach’ – 05/09/10
Girlfriend and pup walking on the beach in Talybont. A deliberately minimalist composition, that i hoped would emphasise the beautiful empty landscape!
Day 282: Sand Blister
Day 282 ‘Sand Blister’ – 04/09/10
This Jelly Fish had been washed up on the beach of Talybont, and reminded me of a little of a blister you get on your feet!
Day 281: Train View
Day 281 ‘Train View’ – 03/09/10
This looks a little like an ICM “Intentional Camera Movement” shot, but in fact is not. This was shot from the window of a fast moving train heading on our way for a long weekend in wales.
Day 280: Losing Control
Day 280 ‘Losing Control’ – 02/09/10
This is a revisit to Day 68 with an ICM “Intentional Camera Movement” twist. This is another image of my mouse, but with intentional blurring to change the dynamic of the shot. It is quite interesting, for me, to revisit some of the images and spots i have used on my project to see how i can now look at them with fresh eyes. Whether this is a better image or not is open to debate, but it is definitely not an image i would have taken 212 days ago!!!!
Day 280: No He’s Not
Day 280 ‘No He’s Not!’ – 02/09/10
I kinda feel sorry for Bonzo, whoever they are…it is bad enough that this was scrawled along with some other humorous graffiti in the goods lift (some of the schoolboy phallic graffiti was too x-rated for the blog) but now this slander is out n the internet! So if for one would like to say No He’s Not! I thought this made a slightly funny image, and is definitely the low water mark for graffiti as an art form!
Day 279: No Image Availble
Day 279 ‘No Image Available’ – 01/09/10
This is what greets me on the back of my little Canon S90 every day, “No Image”. I couldn’t remember at lunchtime if i had taken a photo today or not, so cranked on the camera to preview mode “No Image”. Whilst not an interesting photo, this is somewhat symbolic of the daily challenge on this project, so here is an inspired, and equally uninspired photo for Day 279!
Day 278: Snail Shell
Day 278 ‘Snail Shell’ – 31/08/10
This is my first ‘Camera Toss’ attempt, I finally felt brave enough to give this a try. For those that don’t know this literally involves you flinging the camera into the air (no hands) as you take the image. This was done in the relative safety of the living room, and is in fact an episode of friends on the TV! So here is my first, likely not my last ‘Camera Toss’, ‘Intentional Camera Movement’ image of my project 365!
Day 278: Easy Rider
Day 278 ‘Easy Rider’ – 31/08/10
It was a beautifully sunny start to the day, and i liked this shot into the sun of this morning commuter on his bicycle. Even if this is another photo of Canary Wharf, but then this is my morning commute, so i don’t have the luxury of variety on a daily basis!
Day 277: Dogs Bottom
Day 277 ‘Dogs Bottom’ – 30/08/10
One half of our little pup being very well behaved as we had lunch in St Katherines dock.
