Day 119: Stairwell
Day 119 ‘Stairwell’– 25/03/10
I often have meetings that require me to shoot between diferent floors, today i noticed a light was broken in one of the stairwells that allowed for the moody lighting in this shot. Deliberately darkened further in the processing, i liked the way this made a nice minimalist abstract.
Day 118: Coming Apart
Day 118 ‘Coming Apart’– 24/03/10
Nice to start the day with an early post, taking away the pressure of looking for a shot for another 24 hours! I noticed this little snag in the carpet in the hallway of our apartment block. Thought it might make a nice macro shot for this Wednesday Morning!
Day 117: Underground Parking
Day 117 ‘Underground Parking’– 23/03/10
Tough one today, this narrowly pipped another shot, that I will definitely take again down the line. Again not 100% sure what to expect people to make of this, but i liked the way the elements all seemed to work together.
Day 112: The Mothership Has Landed
Day 112 ‘The Mothership Has Landed’– 18/03/10
This is a location that has been on my to-do list for a while. I like the lines and structure of Heron Quays DLR station, this was snapped whilst it was quiet on my way home from work. There definately some potential for a few more detail shots around here.
Day 111: Down But Not Out
Day 111 ‘Down But Not Out’– 17/03/10
I’ll be intrigued to see what the verdict is for this shot. Sometimes i am surprised ar what a good or bad reaction a shot gets when i post it up. I really like this photo, but i can’t say quite why, which is why i wonder if it will be a MISS for most people.
Day 110: Four Forks Sake
Day 110 ‘Four Forks Sake’– 16/03/10
Like a child i found the title that popped into my head for this shot as i walked home deeply hilarious! Perhaps not, but another ‘at my desk shot’ for today. I have recently realised that this project will serve as a mirror to my life in years to come. When something as mundane as plastic forks in my draw will remind me of little details of my life.
Day 110: DoubleTake
Day 110 ‘DoubleTake’– 16/03/10
This is actually two photos that i took either side of the same street. To be honest i was just playing around, but when i looked at them next to each other on the laptop, i thought they would combine together nicely. So here you go, the result of some playful photography, and playful post processing.
Day 108: Out My Window
Day 108 ‘Out My Window’– 14/03/10
Marking the completion of 30% of my project 365 is a diptych of my journey to Coventry. I liked the contrast between the calm cloudy blue sky against the deliberately blurred railway tracks as we were racing along.
Day 107: Triple Filtered
Day 107 ‘Triple Filtered’– 13/03/10
Tomorrow is the 30% mark for the project which i am quite excited about. Todays shot was on the way to get the weeks groceries from our local Tesco Express. I liked how this Stella Artois poster looked against the old run down location it is hosted.

Day 106: Going Down
Day 106 ‘Going Down’– 12/03/10
Another morning shot, and for a rare change not only a portrait (of sorts) but a self portrait. This is a little glimpse of me preparing to face the world in the morning, getting the lift down readying myself for the day ahead.
Day 104: When I’m Cleaning Windows
Day 104 ‘When I’m Cleaning Windows’– 10/03/10
Perhaps it should be Windaz not Windows? Regardless this isn’t quite the shot i wanted, i hope to catch a fully soapy windows (maybe even tomorrow) but i liked the character of this shot. The often overlooked aspect of the big building city life are the guys that keep the windows clean.
